Frankly, the Maldives were never high on our bucket list. We are curious explorers and our travels usually include an element of unscripted nature exploration with a touch of local charm and history. Now, the Maldives, really aren’t the place for those types of trips. But once in a while you need to unwind, and then there’s places where you get to be in touch with nature in a luxurious way.
